The CMAT program is offering the Construction Excellence Academy, a series of training sessions on a range of topics related to modern construction practices, project oversight, and workforce development.

Attendees will benefit by gaining practical knowledge and hands-on skills that they can apply immediately on the job.

The training format will be in-person instruction that includes interactive hands-on activities and practical exercises. Events will typically be held at the Institute for Transportation in Ames but can be held at other locations in Iowa if specifically requested and arranged.

Target Audiences

The CMAT program welcomes anyone who would like to improve their skill sets in construction, including Iowa DOT employees, contractors, early-career professionals, office staff, project managers, supervisors, inspectors, or any individuals seeking to strengthen or update their construction-related knowledge.
