REACTOR Lab to have presence at TRB Annual Meeting

REACTOR Lab logoThe work that the REACTOR Lab has focused on during the year will be a presence at this year’s Transportation Research Board (TRB) Annual Meeting.

Seven workshops, poster sessions, and lecture sessions will give REACTOR Lab staff and students the chance to spotlight their work. In total, InTrans staff and students will participate in more than 50 sessions during the annual conference.

The TRB Annual Meeting will be held from January 13–17, 2019 at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center, in Washington, D.C.

The sessions that the REACTOR Lab are involved in will focus on how using data can assist agencies with winter maintenance efforts, work zone performance measures, and improving overall mobility, among others.

REACTOR Lab graduate students will also be presenting Sunday afternoon during the “Big Data Without Machine Learning Is Just Lots of Data: A Guided Tour to Big Data and Machine Learning” workshop after finishing among the top five finalists in a competition organized in part by the TRB committee on Artificial Intelligence and Advanced Computing Applications (ABJ70).
